The HUM offers the warm, relaxed environment and finesse of the small ensemble and transforms into a dance party for the rest of the night. The HUM offers versatility that many other wedding/function bands can’t offer at the price we charge. The HUM’s qualitfied and experienced musicians can play in any or all of these interchangeable configurations in the 1 day! You get all of this - depending on the package - in the 1 band!!

Jazz Vocal Set: (wedding or function) Vocals / keys Playing contemporary and classic ballads, jazz and love songs Also good for background dinner music.

Lounge instrumental groove(wedding or function): guitar / bass / drums / keys / vocals (optional) playing instrumental Groove, Latin and Funk. Sets the scene with a feelgood factor while guests are arriving or mingling. Also good for background dinner music.

Bridal Waltz (wedding): the band can learn the song of your choice

Dance party music:The Hum! (wedding or function): 2 x vocals (3rd lead vocalist for premier events or bigger budget weddings) / guitar / bass / drums / keys / vocals. Party time!

As every wedding or function is different, we offer a tailored solution to suit your requirements and budget. Standard call out is for 4 - 6 hrs.

The Hum 6 or 7 piece party band (may include extra vocalist or musicians for that wow factor!) Subject to availablity and budget

Appropriate high quality sound system which can be made available to your for all speeches and formalities

Live performance of your selected Bridal Waltz (of course we are happy to organise to play the original on CD / MP3 too if you prefer!)

Gorgeous live Ceremony Music by The HUM partner - Seri Music- selected in close consultation with you and performed by accomplished singers and musicians at your ceremony venue.

EXTRAS Infromation

We supply all the sound requirements including: speakers, microphones and a qualified sound operator – all included in the price

Extra lead vocalist can join in for the bigger events or bigger budget weddings or if you just want the extra WOW factor

We will tailor any of our packages that will compliment your venue or occasion appropriately

The band can learn new and specific songs especially designed for your occasion. Eg: wedding waltz or specific party tune etc. Minimum 6 weeks notice to allow for learning and rehearsals

The band are capable of playing mood music if you need to create a certain atmosphere.

a background music service is provided to compliment the band when you don't want live music or have special requirements.

Meals and drinks are required for each band member and sound person if meals are being served to guests

Make sure your venue can accommodate a 6 piece band

We need to know if volume is a specific issue so we can bring the appropriate equipment

We will need to know parking arrangements. Parking should be accessible for the band to load in heavy equipment. Where payment for parking is required, please arrange for the band to be waived of any fees or this will be added to the cost.
